Of course, Secretary Wang did not tell Qin Zhiyou about Xiaochen suspecting him of courting Lu Weixi as he seemed to care so much about her.

By this time, Lu Weixi had already received the penalty and moved on to the next business deal. Who cared whether her previous client prospered or perished.

When Lu Weixi came out of the bathroom, she didn’t know that Qin Zhiyou had answered her call. Just as she finished her skincare routine, there was a knock at the door. It was Yang Mogui punctually sending her tonic clear soup, which she drank and then carefully rinsed her mouth in the bathroom.
When she stepped out, she found Qin Zhiyou, wearing only a bath towel around his waist.
