The Goblin's Leveling System!

Chapter 19: The Mysterious Cave In Dragon Mountain

Mathew is lying on the bed while I look after him.

We are currently at the Sweet Pork Inn to take a break from increasing our levels and to let Mathew rest since he is currently experiencing the side effect of Universal Steal.

Mathew's mental health seems to have improved after I cast [Recovery].

'My [Recovery] skill is too expensive! It costs me too much mana!'

Luckily, after I cast [Recovery], Mathew fainted and he seems physically healthy. It must be because of the side effect which put a strain in his mental health.

Sophie enters the room to take care of Mathew since we planned on taking turns in taking care of Mathew.

I leave the room, go outside the Inn and go to the Dragon Mountain.

'I need to train more. I also need to earn more system coins so that I will have more powerful skills in my arsenal.'

'Come to think of it... I don't have any weapons to wield yet. What weapon should I use?'

As I am wandering on what weapon to wield, I have already arrived at Dragon Mountain by running. Thanks to my high-speed stats, I have arrived at Dragon Mountain in just 30 seconds.

'System, is it possible to convert my available stat points into system coins?'

*The host deserves to be called a genius for thinking of such possibility. The host can exchange the host's available stat points but the ratio of exchange is 10 available stat points is equal to 1 system coin and vice versa.*

'That's a reasonable price. I thought it was expensive but the ratio is okay I guess.'

'System, can I exchange 10,000 available stat points for 1,000 system coins?'

*The system will execute the host's command. Executing command... Command executed. The host's system coins will be transferred into the host's system inventory. Transferring 1,000 system coins... 1,000 system coins have been transferred into the host's system inventory.*

'The system has responded very quickly.'

"Inventory!", I chant and after that, a blue translucent screen with boxes that has things inside while some are empty appears in front of me. It is the system inventory.

I see a gold coin with the symbol 'S' on it inside the box. It has a 1,000x at the top of the gold coin. I tap the gold coin.

*Ding!*

*Will the host obtain the system coins? What item quantity does the host want to obtain?*

'I will obtain the system coins and the quantity is 1,000.'

*The host has obtained 1,000 system coins. The host's system coins are deducted by 920 since the host had a loan of 900 and an interest of 20. The host has obtained 80 system coins.*

'I need to stop ng the system loan since the interest rate is so high. Forget about paying the loan, I might not even pay the interest!'

'My teammates have become stronger than before I had met them and their improvement rate is high that they can be considered as someone with talent and potential.'

I walk deeper into the forest until I reach the bottom of the mountain.

This place used to be the Dragon Mountain but after we 'massacred' the whole place, the dragons went into hiding and they keep staying inside their cave.

I need to find other monsters that can rival me or something with a power that is lesser than mine but not too less.

The Dragon Mountain is becoming a peaceful place where all of the dragons are living in seclusion. They don't even dare to go outside their cave.

I need to go to the demon continent to defeat the demons and become stronger than before.

'But if I need to travel to the demon continent, then it is better to go with my teammates so that they can also become stronger.'

'I need to get a weapon that is suitable for my fighting style. And it has to be unique so that if it ever gets stolen then it would be harder to use.'

'I need to inspect all of the caves in the Dragon Mountain because the dragons must have sealed a treasure or something that I can use as a weapon.'

I am currently in the forest of the Dragon Mountain and I am now sprinting towards the mountains.

I search every nook and cranny inside the cave of every dragon that I have encountered.

To my surprise, they didn't even retaliate when I barge into their caves and steal their prized possessions. They just act as if nothing hasn't been happening and ignores me even if I make of the Dragons.

I noticed that whenever I make a fool of them, they hold their anger and acts as if nothing is happening.

They must've noticed that I am too powerful and I can defeat them without breaking any sweat.

I can just use [Explosive Fireball] if they do retaliate but nothing serious has occurred others might see what I'm doing to these dragons, then they might think that I'm extorting equipment from them.

I went to every cave I found and I finally have arrived at the cave that I haven't visited yet.

The cave is very dark that I can't see anything and even closing my eyes is not that dark compared to the cave where I'm at.

Since I'm proficient and have an affinity with all basic elements, I cast a low-tier magic skill which is [Light Orb].

The magic that I have cast emit light and has a shape of a sphere and has a color of lucid yellow. It is similar to a light bulb but it uses mana as energy instead of electricity.

Even though I cast [Light Orb], it was still insufficient to light up the room with enough light to let me see. So, I cast multiple [Light Orb] skills, and the room is finally filled with light. I have cast at least 1,000 [Light Orb] skills to light up the whole cave.

Since [Light Orb] is a low-tier magic skill, it didn't cost me a huge amount of mana and forget about thousands, I can even cast a million of this skill.

The whole cave is covered with light that emits from the 1,000 [Light Orb] skills that have allowed me to see the inside of the cave.

I am slowly walking inside the cave to carefully inspect it and so that I won't miss any minor details. I felt that this cave holds some mysteries.

I cast [Mana Shield] to protect me from sneak attacks and as they say; "You can never be too careful."

I also cast multiple [Explosive Fireball] that is in orbit around me and it will explode upon contact if someone will use melee attacks.

After inspecting the cave for nearly an hour, I found a mechanism in the cave that will allow me to teleport into another place with the use of the magic circle that is below me, to triggers it, I need to transfer my mana towards the mechanism so that the magic circle will activate.

'I don't know where the magic circle will teleport me to but to be on the safe side, I will ask my teammates to go with me to this cave so we can enter the place where the magic circle will lead us to. If we run into trouble, at least we can support each other out.'

'I am not sure if they can all go with me together since someone needs to take care of Mathew so I think Zale and Aerin might accompany me on this adventure.'

I cast [Gate] and a bright white door appears in front of me. I enter the door and I am teleported into the Sweet Pork Inn.

I enter the entrance of Sweet Pork Inn and I go to Mathew's room and Mathew is lying in the bed, recuperating his mental injuries.

Zale is sitting on a chair beside the bed of Mathew and taking care of him. Zale looks tired from waiting.

I cast [Restoration] and a bright yellow light shines from my hand and goes towards Zale which then removes Zale's fatigue and helps him regain his energy.

"Zale, I found some mysterious cave in the Dragon Mountain and it has some sort of mechanism and a magic circle that teleports to some unknown place.", I inform Zale.

"I was thinking about exploring the place and I need you and Aerin to accompany me since Sophie will take care of Mathew and Mathew still needs to let his mental injuries heal. So the two of you are the only one who has free time to accompany in exploring the place where the magic circle will teleport us.", I added.

Zale stands up from his chair, goes to me, and says; "Count me in! But what if we can't go back and return in here, in other words, we might get trap in there."

"I can cast gate so you don't have to worry about getting trap in there.", I reply to Zale.

Zale agrees and calls Sophie to take care of Mathew and explains that Aerin, him, and I are going on an adventure.

Sophie agrees and she sits down on the chair and patiently waiting for Mathew to wake up.

"Now that is settled, let's discuss it with Aerin, shall we?", I ask Zale.
